The design for the complete renovation of the locker room at UMass Amherst’s Football Performance Center serves the needs of players and staff as well as providing a key recruiting tool for Division I programs. The design therefore required careful attention to both practical needs, such as ergonomics and storage, as well as aesthetic considerations for a space that will be seen by prospective students and in the press.

Working within a relatively limited budget and time frame, Perry Dean Rogers’ design has transformed an outdated locker room into a lively space that has been enthusiastically received by the players and staff.
